How many fears, tragedies or dramas could we find inside a giant Bart Simpson in the main streets of our cities if we took a proper look? Can we even count the amount of aggressiveness that the global cartoon icons and their strategies of expansion put on the way of pressure to the shoulders of the poorest?

This painting is half of a series of two artworks looking into the squares of cities like London or Paris where foreigners and undocumented people -controlled by local and international mafias, wear big, enormous fancy dresses of the most important global icons of the animation and licensing sectors.

Who really are those humans inside of them and how big is the part of their lives that they are paying for the chance of having a role in the savage capitalist public scene?
